About Powder Software

Powder Software is a small software company located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We started off as a group of Oracle database instructors, and in the course of teaching classes we realized that there were a few applications that we could build that would make people's lives easier. QuerySmith and Safeguard are two of them, and we're working on a few others as well.

As for where the name Powder Software came from, we like to ski any chance we get. Powder is fresh, untracked snow sought after by skiiers and snowboarders.
